My Daydream Ghost
Words spoken in a Daydream,
Like a ghost who isn't there.
I can't hear a thing but you talk too much.
I've met you before but I haven't,
I know you but I don't.
There's too much going on where there's nothing.
I've had too much of not enough.
I see you everywhere but it isn't you.
You know so much but I won't tell you.
Leave me alone. In silence you are always there,
I can't get away but there's nothing to escape.
I wonder when it will end,
it won't end if it never started.
You kill me because you won't hurt me.
You won't go away because you are never there.
Put me out of my misery.
When will the silence return?
