I don't know who Harry is but it's a pretty cool beach.

I've got this friend of mine, she knows how much I love Torakina Beach. I told her a while back to just get used to me calling it Vanuatu and remember what I mean. Torakina has it's horrid days, just like any beach, but if you have ever been there on it's best days you can probably understand my imagination.

From Torakina you can see Harry's Hill Beach. I was pretty happy with Vanuatu but I also like to know where things are. My awesome friend knows this and our two families headed on out there. Harry's Hill is a sweet little spot by it's own reasons and it is worth checking out.

It's just as close as it looks but you have to go via Ocean Shores to get there. If you look at the map you can see how North Head's Rd takes you to the other side of the river. Follow the dusty old road till you can go no further.

Once you get out you know you are at the right spot when you the see sign welcoming you to the Brunswick River .....

......... and the nasty compost toilet.... only nasty if you catch a whiff ....maybe ....maybe not for the faint hearted. If you ever use one after a good rain, especially the one on the far right you will be missing the use of any Exeloos, plumbed public toilet or any otherwise dumping type hole in the ground. Just saying.

There's then this beautiful bush track you follow. It's mostly level. It has a nice canopy.

It's great but keep an eye out for snakes anytime of year just because of where it is. I'm not aware of any incidents.

You made it!

Bellissimo!

Be mindful of the boats exiting the Marina and have a good time.

So there you have it.... Harry's Hill Beach, not the best kept secret.... anymore.
