Dreamworld on the Gold Coast
Hi everyone.
-
Thanks to the new Wix phone app, I bring you this post on location at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast (Woohoo Dreamworld).
-
Thanks to our 'happiness passes' which average us a cost of about $10 per month per person, we didn't need to bring much money today. With these memberships subscriptions we get unlimited entry to Whitewaterworld, Dreamworld and a few other places, saving us up to $89 or so per person per entry for up to 12 months. Loving it!

For those of you who haven't been or at least not for a while, let me refresh your memory, update you or at least inform you about the current attractions Dreamworld has to offer, even if you aren't a member.

Tigers!
Tigers, baby tigers, the nicest tiger mechanise you can find, information about these endangered species and .... More baby tigers.
Rides You that may or may not regret
There's The Claw, Giant Drop and Buzz Saw for those with the greater love. There's the Tower of Terror and my old time favourite- The Wipeout if you find those ones a bit easier to conquer.
There's plenty of other minor rides too, depending on your taste.
Surprises
Be ready for unexpected photos and getting wet.
Aesthetics and themes
Man made scenery, more greenery and places for the posers to take selfies. Dreamworld is incorporating their zones in to more themes. I like that.
More age focused variety.
There's more places for various age groups. Leave your toddler at daycare or bring them along and borrow a tote to tow them in.Other than these little hidey holes theres a mini version of the giant drop, dogem cars and other rides.
Whitewaterworld
Relax in the bay, wave pool or go get your wedgie. Whitewaterworld is also where the shortest lines are if you are buying food. Even though Whitewaterworld is just next door and joined to Dreamworld's hip, you can slip through via the shop near the roller coaster. Unfortunately you won't be able to unless you have a worldpass or pay the price as Whitewaterworld does count itself as it's own attraction and separate park.
There's much, much more. Feed the crocs, jump the queues or come after house for a real scream.

I miss the zombies. It looks like they are building something else.

Dreamworld is an hour or so from northern rivers or Brisbane area, depending on where you are. You can find out more about attractions and discounts on their website at Dreamworld.com.au
Have a great long weekend.
