Memorable movie scenes: Kill Bill (1 and 2)

Hey Readers,

Did you ever watch Kill Bill? Both of them?

Kill Bill currently has 2 volumes (there was a 3rd in the rumour mill for a ridiculously long time). For those of you who haven't seen them, I could tell you it was a story about overcoming adversity, a strong developing character and multiple ways to die in various action sequences BUT what it really is about is REVENGE.

In Kill Bill, Beatrix is our main character and the story follows through her progress bit by bit as she seeks out her revenge on the members of the Deadly Vipers Assassin Squad and their leader Bill. Previously, Bill and the squad had left her in a coma after they felt a little disgruntled about her disbandment and attempt to move on and have a normal life without them. Beatrix seeks revenge on the way they expressed their distaste for her new life choice, seeing that they gate-crashed her wedding rehearsal and killed everyone and that she had been pregnant at the time. The movies do jump back in forth from the present and the past a bit but its ok. You don't really get too lost in it.

Following my own tradition, I'm not really here to tell you about the entirety of any movie. If your keen you're just going to have to watch them for yourself.

When Beatrix, formerly known as the Black Mumba finally catches up with O-Ren at the House of Blue Leaves she still has to go through the her clan the Crazy 88 before she can face off with her.

If I were to show you the whole lot I would have to show you multiple vids. I've had to upload the Japanese version just to show you a longer length. Most 'scenes' in these movies are all long.

I have to say I have also enjoyed the scene where she gets buried alive and she pretty much has no real hope of getting out. I don't know if you remember the little handbook I posted the link for when I wrote about the Lazarus Effect many months ago but generally when you are buried alive you are already stuffed. At this point in the movie we are taken back to another memory of when she was training with Pai Mei. She of course gets out which is a bit far fetched but the memory of developing her ability to bust out makes up for it. You might have to just look the other way when she makes her way out so you arent left scoffing.

I could show you multiple videos but I will only be loading one. Seeing that I find Pai Mei absolutely comical with his beard flicking I have chosen just one you'll be watching and it's this one. It's not the same without the subtitles but here it is.

There are many other scenes which you probably found more interesting but it's my blog and these are my most memorable.

Again, if you would like to see more you will have to just watch it for yourself.

He cracks me up. I don't know if Pai Mei is meant to be funny. Probably not...
