Blog upgrades

Hopefully some greatness is thrust upon us, instead I see many changes I must fix. Wix says only upgrade if you feel like it but also lets us know if we don’t, then we have to say “bye bye” after December 2020. In response, anyone who had custom HTML everything has had to edit everything when they migrated. Frankly, I’m not that fast.

As part of this process not only did I have to review every display, widget and function, I’ve also decided to review some posts. I had some concerns that some old posts were no longer accessible or that maybe I just didn’t recycle some thoughts I’d valued. I like “some of those posts”.

Upon further checks I’ve been able to press on back as far as 2015 and I can see that at least some of the stuff I would have definitely republished is still there. There's also a bunch of typos and other stuff I didn’t fix so while I’m there I’m cleaning up as much as I can bother.

Have a look at my old stuff until next post. I was totally gonna repost some of that stuff today. It was going to be good and I was going to post it like you had never heard or seen of it before. I like the posts about the Siafu and Vomeral Nasal Glands and some of those movie scenes I found memorable. Had I posted about them today I’m sure I would have added more fresh and new content that I‘d be even more excited about.

The world is a strange and interesting place, if only we would let the world show us.

If you’re currently subscribed to email it’s best to maybe temp off for a while. Likely, the website will tell you every time I burp or fart or every time I make a single edit until I’m done. It will lead to me being that monster in your spam or junk box. So what’s the point? Get it over with. Take a break now and freshen your subscriptions later. It’s a mess here. Check back when your ready. I'll be here typing about some weird idea that popped in my head or something that someone said to me. I'll try fix all these weird page errors too.
